Dear Andre,
couple of days ago, I received my rejection on my skills assessment as a "manufacture manager". Currently I am living in Melbourne with a work & holiday visa, but I want to settle here and work here, since I have family. (Direct aunty and plenty of cousins).
I am 27 years and have a master's degree (in textile and clothing engineering), worked 2 years as a customer service assistant and one year as a brand manager in the fashion industry.
I wanted to asked you, if I should continue my visa appliaction, which visa type I should go for
a) general skilled immigration (here I would have get my skills assessed, where I already got rejected since I don't have 5 years of work experience or an Australian Bachelor degree)
b) Regional Sponsored (Provisional) visa (subclass 487) and have my cousin act as a sponsor.
- is that possible that a cousin can act as a sponsor? how can i proof the family relationship?
Is there any other type of visa you can recommend me?
As I understand, the most important point is, to find a position on the SOL list, where sucessfuly found some positions but I am not sure if I meet the requirements for the assessment.
In which casewould it be easier for me to get a work visa granted?
How long would it take?
Thank you in advance for answering all my questions.
Cheers, Jade
