my name is Anne and I am writing in behalf of my partner.
He is on a work and travel visa in Australia at the moment but he
wants to change it into a sponsorship visa. He is an IT specialist and
has studied media informatik in Germany and is fluent in english (IELTS
test 7,5), good knowledige in chinese (mandarin), spanish and french.

His current visa will expire in september and he is applying for good IT
jobs. He has good results until he has to tell them about his visa
status and whenever he tells them that he is only on a work and travel
visa, he gets rejected right away.

We want to live in Australia together but right now my boyfriend is desperate.
Could you please help us and give us some advice how to find an employer willing to sponsor someone?

Mal ne schnelle Antwort auf Deutsch:

IT Jobs (vernuenftige) zu bekommen auf einem WHV ist ein ziemliches Gluecksspiel.
Ging mir als ich hier ankam auch so. Alles wunderbar und man hat gute Chance bis man dann gefragt wird welches Visa man hat und dann hat sichs erledigt. Traurig, aber wahr.
Ich hatte viel Glueck und hab jemanden gefunden der mir mein 457 sponsored. Dazu habe ich aber auch schon ein paar Monate als Freelancer fuer die Firma gearbeitet und hatte Glueck das der Admin gekündigt hatte.

IELTS ist uebrigens nicht erforderlich fuer einen gesponserten IT Job (ausser man macht 1st level oder Hardware reparieren).

Kannst du deinen Partner nicht auf dein Visa/Staatsbuergerschaft(?) nehmen?
Wie siehts denn mit der Berufserfahrung aus? Sind das nur ein paar Jaehrchen, siehts noch schlechter aus als es mit dem 417er eh schon ist.
